In the Medieval times weapons were one of the best things to succeed back then.If you didn’t have weapons you were practically defenseless. But you would also need more than one kind of weapon for different situations. The flail was one of the most powerful weapons in the medieval times. The crossbow and bow were used to hit the enemy from a distance before they got to you. Also catapults were used to lunge big rocks and either hit people or damage the enemys castle. Battleing ram was used to break through the enemys huge castle doors. Once they got in the knights would use swords since they would be up close to the enemy. The sword was usually a short fast and pretty powerful weapon. Most weapons were made of either bronze, steel, or iron. But knifes were also very important. Knifes were used by assains, they usually hid the small sharp kinfe under there sleeve and they would get up close to the person they were hired to and kill and stab them in the eback where if you hit them in the right place they couldent scream and no one would know untill later that day or even weeks.Also they used very long spears to either throw at the enemy or to stab them from on top of a horse.
